Re-tweets are normally limited to Twitter, but we were excited when former coach, current Fox Sports announcer, self-proclaimed “adventure-preneur,” and Pete Carroll’s co-author Yogi Roth tweeted today “love #SigningDay hype…social media will go off & schools will announce in cool ways…Expect @CoachSark and #UW to ripit creatively…” Check back with us as we’ll have an official post on our Signing Day coverage.

Dual sport star Austin Seferian-Jenkins has filled the stat sheets for two UW teams now as he picked up his first points of the season for the basketball team Thursday against Arizona State. ASJ scored four points in 16 minutes off the bench in the 60-54 road win over the Sun Devils. Seferian-Jenkins added five rebounds and a block in a gritty performance, and only his second game with the team. He tallied two more points in the 69-67 nationally televised road win over Arizona that pushed the Huskies into a tie for first in the Pac-12. ASJ is no stranger to the scoreboard. During his spectacular freshman year with the Dawgs he grabbed six TD passes along with 538 total yards receiving.

Three Huskies were on the winning side of the North-South Senior Bowl yesterday. Chris Polk, Senio Kelemete and Alameda Ta’amu helped the North pull out a 23-13 victory over the South. Chris had 15 yards on six carries, Senio had a great week of practice and was said to be one of the best run blockers, and Alameda had two tackles, both of which were tackles for loss for a total of eight yards.

While we saw in the Alamo Bowl just how effective Keith Price could be when he’s healthy, we also saw that injuries to his knees during the regular season might have been the key to opening up his tremendous vision and passing game. ESPN’s Kevin Gemmell writes how Keith was able to overcome injuries and still be on the of the best quarterbacks in the nation.

On November 10, the Huskies played host to Oregon State at Husky Stadium. It was the Homecoming game of that year for the 18th ranked Dawgs.
