Welcome Tosh Lupoi!

01/16/12 By Think Tank Productions

It has been a busy morning and we want to welcome a new member to the coaching staff in Tosh Lupoi! Coach Lupoi comes to us from the University of California at Berkeley where he was the defensive line coach.  Lupoi played high school football at the powerhouse program of De La Salle in Concord, California and went on to play at Cal from 2000-2005.  ”Coach Lupoi is a terrific young coach and a dynamic recruiter,” said Coach Sark.  ”He will have an immediate impact with our team both on the field and in recruiting.”  We’re very happy to have Coach Lupoi on board!

Well done. One of the most passionate, energetic, exciting coaching staffs in the country. If you’re a recruit, it’s going to be hard NOT to feel the buy the product these guys will be selling.

Great hire! Tosh has that “do anything to win” mentality that will fit in perfectly at UW! I love how much he preaches loyalty and family, too. WOOF!

Tosh, welcome to the University of Washington! Really excited about everything he brings to the Huskies. An ace recruiter and a molder of great linemen. I can’t wait for next season.

So cool to see John Lupoi posting some love for his son on this blog! Much to be proud of in that family. ESPN has a great write up about Grandfather Tony Lupoi ( http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/recruiting/football/news/story?id=6272961 ) that everyone should check out. Tosh is about so much more than recruiting and it’ll be fun to see him blossom into a motivating head coach some day soon.
