Tuesdays mean ‘Competition Tuesday’ as the team gets ready for the bulk of their preparation for their upcoming opponent, this week being the Portland State Vikings. However, today, football takes a back seat as everyone is well aware of the 11-year anniversary of the attacks that occurred in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington D.C. Today is another day where our players and coaches can truly appreciate the opportunity they have to do something they love, and they owe it all to the heroes that encompass our great country in the past, present and future. The message is clear: we do not need to be reminded of those fallen heroes 11 years ago today because We Never Forget. God Bless all the families, friends and loved-ones who were lost, but not forgotten, 11 years ago.
