Post Game: Washington at Arizona

10/21/12 By Think Tank Productions

DAWGS OF THE GAME

Offense: Tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins had a huge game in leading the team with 110 yards on eight receptions. The 110 yards set ASJ’s career high for receiving.

Defense:
Travis Feeney’s spectacular interception was one of the bright spots for the defense and set the redshirt freshman linebacker apart.

Special Teams:
Travis Coons connected on both extra-points and hit a 43 yard field goal.

PLAYS OF THE GAME:

O: Kendyl Taylor dashed 30 yards to the 6 yard line on a spectacular run that was key to the efficient five play and 75 yard drive in the second quarter.

D: Josh Shirley hit Arizona’s Matt Scott as Scott threw, causing the ball to shoot upward. Feeney looked like a punt returner as he intercepted the wayward pass and returned it for 47 yards to the 3 yard line to set up a Bishop Sankey touchdown.

ST: Coons’ 43 yard field goal in the first quarter put the Huskies on the board and matched his season high for distance.
