Sunday Conversation

Losing games is the worst and when there is an expectation of winning every time the Huskies take the field, that feeling is compounded.  When losses do occur, there are two options: sulk, or look at the game, take the good and the bad, and move forward.  These Dawgs only know one way and that is to continue to get better, look at the next opportunity and compete.

On Saturday, the Dawgs did learn something about themselves: they have the ability to respond when challenged.  After being down at half, Coach asked the team to believe.  “Believe in yourself, your teammates and the calls,” said Coach Sark.  “We need to have a belief about what we are doing in order to compete.”  The team came out and played an extremely tough second half, and even though the result was unfavorable, it does show something moving on into the second half of the season.

The team has another tough challenge heading to Arizona.  Make sure to follow the Dawgs as they kickoff at 7pm this Saturday in the desert.  And one more thing:

Go Dawgs!!!
